Artist Statement for Joyce Dibona

|
I want the mystery within the painting to prevail. My painting is a journey of the spirit. Within the world of painting I try to convey that “other side” of the world we normally perceive. Visitations, revelations and journeys are all a part of that other world. For me, painting functions as a sort of narrative of those experiences which are outside of the World of Words. I believe painting is a universal language of the soul that crosses boundaries and barriers that words often cannot.
