Artist Statement:
I was born in 1970 in
Rochester, NY. I graduated
from the Rhode Island School
of Design in 1993 with a BFA
in Ceramics.
I have lived in the Chicago
area since 1993, developing my
style and techniques of
painting. I work in acrylic
paint on boards and handmade
wooden boxes, sometimes
incorporating paper into my
pieces. I work in many layers
of paint, building up texture
and colors.
I have shown at many different
venues, including Around the
Coyote, Columbia College,
Thirteenth Floor Gallery,
LaSalle Bank, The Judy Saslow
Gallery, The Art Institue &
Gallery in Salisbury, MD. My
work is in numerous private
collections.
