Artist Statement:
Jeff enjoyed sketching and
painting from an early age,
but did not consider becoming
a full-time artist until he
was thirty-five. Encouraged by
his family he soon made his
mark.
Jeff feels very fortunate that
he has the stunning Gower
coastline to inspire his
unique works. Not only does he
excel in painting landscapes,
he also takes advantage of the
many historical buildings in
both Wales and England to
produce beautiful water
colours, such as Dylan
Thomas's famous boathouse at
Laugharne, and the magnificent
castles of Cardiff and
Caernavon to name but a few.
Under the name of "Images of
Wales", Jeff has also produced
many souvenirs of Wales in his
own inimitable style, and just
recently he has been
commisioned to provide the
Dunvant Male Voice's new C.D
cover.
For the past seven years, Jeff
has also been a professional
teacher of mixed media
painting in the Swansea area,
holding classes in many
venues. These lessons are also
being enjoyed in many
residential homes in the area,
as Jeff visits to run classes
for the residents....
