Artist Statement:
I would not consider myself as
some would call it a 'deep
artist', meaning ,there is not
a lot of philosophical reasons
or deep insight to why I paint
something.
I paint something,firstly not
because of the message it
conveys, but because in my
eyes I see a work of art. For
example I might just look at a
person and see a master piece,
I might look at a sunset and
see a picture in a frame.
As an artist I've never seen
myself as being tied down to a
particular style ,but in my
work I must admit there seems
always to be a recurring
theme...You guest it,'the
human form'.
If you asked me why I enjoy
painting the human figure, I
could not give you a definate
answer, but all I can say,
there is just something about
people.
