Artist Statement for Jennifer Anne Buckley
|
|
|
My paintings are three-dimensional plains of abstraction that I place on a two-dimensional canvas. I use dark colors to depict darker subject matter. My photography is manipulated to portray how reality is manipulated through individuals’ minds. I use an intuitive process in drawing to explore my own mind. My art is an encapsulation of my deepest thoughts and a form of subconscious exploration.
