Artist Statement for Jennifer Turner
|
|
|
As a child I was often accused of being "in my own little world" as I would daydream and play by myself for hours. Now, as an adult, I realize that "my own little world" wasn't such a bad place to be. I could be anyone or anywhere I dreamed of in my imagination. When I'm "in my own little world" I can find that child inside and truly enjoy that creative process of making art!
Jennifer Turner lives in Ellenwood, GA with her two children. Her favorite hobbies include creating art, reading, working out and spending time with her family.
Jennifer has worked as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator for the past 4 years creating original art work. logos, illustrations, and web sites for clients nationwide.
Jennifer illustrates using traditional mediums. Her favorites include watercolor, pastels, pencil, and colored pencils. In addition, she enjoys blending traditional and digital mediums on PC Macintosh computers using Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand, and Painter software.
Jennifer is proficient using the Macintosh and PC computers in all industry standard programs including QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Painter, Photoshop and Shockwave.
