Artist Statement:
I have suffered much in this life and I find myself portraying my emotions and feelings through my artwork as my palette knife applies the paint onto the canvas. My husband I loved and trusted for 20 years killed himself in 2011 leaving me alone to raise our three kids. Because of this tragedy, my artwork has greatly intensified with feelings and emotions which pulls the audience in. I paint with a variety of emotions and feelings. I paint to express peace and calm. I also paint to express feelings of fear, anger and betrayal. While painting, I find myself constatly falling into the darkness only to be pulled back into the light. I express my feelings of emotion best through the palette knife paintings of horses. Horses show much emotion and are powerful, strong, beautiful beasts which ehlp me to convey my emotions to you. Enjoy my pieces. I will continue to provide more!...
