Artist Statement:
Jessica Wojtasek is an 18
yr old painter whom just
graduated high school and
plans to attend the Columbus
College of Art an Design on a
full-tuition art scholarship.
Jessica generally paints with
oils and works from her own
photographs. She mostly
focuses on cityscapes and
landscapes.
Jessica has won numerous
awards for her paintings
including: 1st Best in Show-
Belmont County Ohio (2 yrs in
a row), 1st Best in Show-
Stifel Fine Arts Center (WV),
2nd Best in Show- Bethany
College, top 300 placement in
the Govenors Youth Art
Exhibition (statewide
competition out of 12,000
works)- it was from this
exhibition a landscape of
Jessica's was purchsed to hang
permanently in the Govenor's
(Ohio) office.
