Artist Statement:
Years ago as a photographer, I
often concentrated on the
micro details of my natural
environment (minerals, plants,
bark, shells, etc.). The
texture and patterns of these
subjects show a natural rhythm
and order, with endless
variation. I learned from
these studies how controlled
accidents can open a window to
an unexpected way of seeing
the world, a kind of natural
alchemy. This experience gave
me the raw material and
inspiration for creating these
digital compositions, a series
of limited edition giclée
prints....
