I am looking at the underlying invisible forces, both natural and cultural, that shape the motion of a day, from the Southern Ocean's currents that impact global weather, to the news media that regulates what information circulates. The paintings question what is current and what circulates, and they intertwine the everyday with the farthest reaches of the world, linking the two as the ocean does.
