Artist Statement:
My work is a balance between
happy accidents and very
conscious decisions. I have
always struggled between my
formal education as an
illustrator and my inborn
roots as an artist. As an
illustrator I always felt
there was a limit to my
exploration; there was always
a client to please and a
sketch to work from. My fine
art aims to showcase the story
of its creation. My struggle
as a fine artist is not
technique or style; it is how
to relay this journey through
