Artist Statement:
I always work on a narrative.I
like to tell stories with my
paintings,therefor I nearly
always function in a body of
work.
My work is inspiredby the
Ancient Scriptures,music and
literature.
Although most of my work is
traditional/figurative I find
that later work is evolving
towards a more contemporary
syle.
My paintings and prints are
quite symbolic and therefore I
particuarly extract meaning
from the everyday things such
as the seasons,or the
bride,and use these metaphors
to convey a story of deeper
meaning derived from my own
experience of life....
