Artist Statement:
J.K. Wilson is an emerging
Canadian artist working
primarily in oils. Deriving
material from many sources
including nature and film, she
fluctuates between abstract
and representational work,
sometimes combining the two.
"What I like most about
painting is the silent world
of imaginary sights, sounds
and feeling that envelopes me
in the process of creating.
Ideas become images in
unsuspected ways and hopefully
the reverse holds true for the
viewer when the work is
