|
I can speak at great length about my art in general. And I can say a lot about each of my works in particular. People often ask me questions like, whom in the art world I emulate. What I am trying to achieve or convey? Where do I find inspiration? When did I begin to make a career of art? And just why do I make art? But the truth is, it isn’t about me. It’s about the art. Because when a piece of art is successful, it speaks for itself. With its’ own words. With its’ own language. Sometimes art whispers. Sometimes art shouts. And, unfortunately, sometimes art is silent. One must take the time to look and to listen. If you hear something or feel something or love it or hate it or react in any way, well, that was my intention.
