Artist Statement for Joanne Wedding
|
|
|
Auckland, New Zealand based Joanne Wedding creates her artworks with a variety of mixed media including watercolour, acrylic, oil and various texture mediums. Continually experimenting with different methods of combining and using new materials, her artwork is built up of many different layers over many weeks resulting in a one of a kind unique piece of art.

December 2009 - Completed the Diploma in Art and Creativity at The Learning Connexion
December 2008 - Received the Oriel Hoskins art scholarship at The Learning Connexion
December 2007 - Received the Oriel Hoskins art scholarship at The Learning Connexion
July 2007 - Won the peoples choice award at Thornton Gallery's one size fits all competition/exhibition
March 2007 - Completed the Certificate in Art and Creativity at TLC
