I am a self-taught painter
working mainly with watercolor
and colored pencils.
With no art-education I have
to trust my innate ability and
the experience I gained
working as an illustrator for
many years.
Although I have spent lots of
time experimenting with
different kinds of mediums,
color pencils has always been
my favorite tool.
Drawing close to photo-realism
demands serious time and
patience, which I fortunately
has in abundance.
The beautiful country-side
with its big forests and the
rocky coast of sweden are many
times my key of inspiration
even if some of my paintings
comes to life thanks to my
active imagination.
