Artist Statement:
I have been actively engaged
in artistic pursuits since
childhood, among my
influences are Michaelanglo,
Pre-raphaelites, Frank
Frazetta, Boris Vallejo and
mythology artists from many
cultures.
"I try to reach out
through my pictures, by
manipulating the colours,
shapes, textures, lines and
intensity of the elements to
create mood and movement.
Activity, conflict and harmony
are orchestrated to provide a
form of music for the eyes
where I can control the volume
and impact. The characters,
scenes and details are
designed to intensify the
experience, so as to draw in
the on-looker and capture them
in the moment, with the
challenge to portray and bring
out intangible feelings like
pride, adventure, happiness,
mistrust, greed or sorrow
through the imagery."
