| Why Did You Become An Artist |
There was no becoming I just was. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I was Born in Indiana.I am named after the film Johnnie Belinda in which Jane Wyman recieved an acdamey award.I am the oldest of four the only girl.
I grew up feeling like an outsider in my own family.
At the age of five I had an incident in which I became withdrawn and introverted. In that same year I had my tonsil's removed ,while in the hospital I recieved a paint by number kit, which became my introduction to 'creative healing art' a path which I would follow later in life.
While spending time at my Grandparents home I thrieved as an artist. I would sit at the kitchen table and sketch portrait after portrait of my grandfather, he encouraged me in my art. In 1981 he died from cancer, I longer found joy in my art. I sat it aside to raise my daughter and make a home for my family. In 1989 I went through a life change , to help with the pain I picked up a pencil and paper and began to sketch again.
I consider my self an outsider/visionary artist with a self taught passion, expressing my self through differnt mediums and subject matter.
