Artist Statement:
My art has evolved out of a
need to nuture self. A journal
with out words to betray me,
only images flowing from inks
and paints to tell where my
thoughts have been. I am lost
in a zone where there is no
thought only a creative force
driving my ...

Why Did You Become An Artist There was no becoming I just was.

Your Personal Biography I was Born in Indiana.I am named after the film Johnnie Belinda in which Jane Wyman recieved an acdamey award.I am the oldest of four the only girl.
I grew up feeling like an outsider in my own family.

At the age of five I had an incident in which I became withdrawn and introverted. In that same year I had my tonsil's removed ,while in the hospital I recieved a paint by number kit, which became my introduction to 'creative healing art' a path which I would follow later in life.

While spending time at my Grandparents home I thrieved as an artist. I would sit at the kitchen table and sketch portrait after portrait of my grandfather, he encouraged me in my art. In 1981 he died from cancer, I longer found joy in my art. I sat it aside to raise my daughter and make a home for my family. In 1989 I went through a life change , to help with the pain I picked up a pencil and paper and began to sketch again. In that same year my husband Bo and I joined a meditation group where I began to develop my psychic abilities.
I would doodle individuals heads and images would appear in which I had no thought of, when giving them the sheet of paper I would find out later from them that the things I doodled held reverence to them thus began my life as psychic artist. I conitune to give readings and lectures and demonstrations to groups and individuals.

I open up my home studio to those who wish to find their creative side. I intutivitly tune into their vibration which allows me to guide them into their individual styles.

I consider my self an outsider/visionary artist with a self taught passion, expressing my self through differnt mediums and subject matter.
