Your Personal Biography Johnny G was born and raised in San Francisco, California in the heart of the Haight-Ashbury. After living there for 25 years, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in broadcasting, but ultimately has established his career as an artist and healer.

As an artist, he works with the mediums of painting, photography, & sculpting. His involvement with art began in the year 2000 where a chain of coincidental events led him to pick up a camera and begin photographing actors and models while, at the same time, also assisting an internationally recognized artist who suggested that Johnny try painting. To his surprise, Johnny was heart-fully drawn to both forms of artwork thus spring boarding his career as an artist.

In the year 2007, Johnny’s mediumship and channeling abilities opened up and he began working with the energies of the Divine Mothers and Fathers. These Source energies work through Johnny to produce artwork that carries the energies of Universal Light force and complete unconditional Love.

Currently, Johnny G combines his channeling work of the Divine Fathers and his artwork. From individual energetic soul portraits to themed series of paintings for art shows and galleries, the purpose of his artwork is always the same – to bring Light, Joy, and healing to each individual heart that experiences his artwork in person or through reproduced versions of his originals.

Johnny has recently finished painting channeled work for a book coming out sometime this year titled, “Gifts from the Divine Mothers” a collection of art and inspiring words. He is also work on a series of 26 channeled paintings showing the soul’s journey, interpreted by the Divine Fathers. Johnny is also putting together a new collection of work for his upcoming August 2009 show at Mi Alma.

What is his process when channeling and creating his work?

As an artist, the most difficult but most rewarding experience for Johnny when channeling work with the Divine Fathers has been getting himself out of the way. When the Divine Fathers work through Johnny, they incorporate their energies within him and completely take over all body movements and artistic choices.

For an example: When Johnny is in front of a blank canvas, he puts his mind and heart into a place of peace and trust. The Divine Fathers begin conversing with him as they bring in their energy. Shortly after, they begin moving his hands around, picking out the paints and paintbrushes. Then they begin moving his arms and body to create the brushstrokes and design until the painting is finished. During this process, Johnny (the ego part) is completely out of the way and unable to make decisions based on personal likes and dislikes. “It’s as if I’m on strings like Pinocchio and I’m watching this video of myself painting. I’m creating styles that I never would’ve done alone. Sometimes, the paintings are dominated by colors that are my least favorite colors. But that is perfect because ultimately the result is incredible and liberating and I know that it serves a higher purpose for all who experience this work.”
