Artist Statement:
These three lamps constructed
from stainless steel paper
clips, retaining rings and
stainless steel guitar picks
weigh 3 lbs. and possess a
3/4' diameter.

These functional pieces share
unique abilities. Their woven
intricacy (without glue or
solder) make the commonplace
objects unrecognizable at
first sight, creating a nice
suprise for the first time
viewer.

In addition, these functional
pieces are infinitely
repairable, reconstructible
and configurable since the
commonplace objects are
unaltered--they can even be
reused for their original
purpose.

I also weave other commonplace
objects like computer paper,
bobby pins and pennies to form
lamps, tables and wall
screens....
