Welcome to Joylene Johnson's Portfolio. Browse Johnson's body of work: I purchased a Macomber loom in 2004 and have spent some time getting back the skills I once had for weaving. Atone time, I was a weekend craft "person" who spent time selling handmade items around the local areas. It was very lucrative at the time. But 3 children later, I gave it up. I sold my first Macomber loom to pay college (grad school) tuition and have only just now been able to go back to it. I really enjoy creating a fabric and luxurious textiles out of thread. and the clothing is very wearable. Not funky or freaky.
