Welcome to J Wood's Portfolio.
I paint because it's a release - a way to escape. There are times I love the end result and times I despise it.
Like many others, my moods influence my paintings. I sometimes have an idea in mind, but not usually. I just pick colors that feel right to me at the time and see what I end up with.
I really like building up different textures and am painting a lot of shapes - I think it's because I spend a lot of time alone due to my own introversion.
