Artist Statement:
This body of work deals with
the arbitrary relationship
between letters and numbers
and their assigned meanings.
We use language everyday. It
is essential to sustain our
way of life. Even right now
I’m trying to communicate to
an unknown reader the

once we get down to truth and
meaning, that’s where language

emphasizing the materiality of
the subject, the object
remains on a terrestrial

sequencing of the characters
at times look familiar and at
other times random, which is a
reminder that there is no
intrinsic natural order to
language, only a prescribed
construct.
