Artist Statement for Julie Miller

|
I try to paint/sketch my emotions and what is in my mind's eye. To make people think about what they are looking at, regardless if they like the piece or not. A lot of things in this world are very passive and don't require people to engage their brains. I do the opposite with my work- create art that moves your mind.
The original pastels seen here begin as 9 x 12 inch works on paper and can be transformed into giclee canvas pieces of any size depending on the clients' needs.
All pieces are available in print form either on canvas or high quality paper and start at $50.00 US depending on size. My work is available for home or office. I will work closely with you to determine which pieces will work best or create something completely new according to your size specifications & color themes. I hope you enjoy what you see here.
