“Dramatic and unusual light captures my imagination, and can change an unremarkable scene into something extraordinary. The effect of light and shadow is crucial to creating drama, colour, texture, shape, and a sense of time. I strive to share the powerful effects of light with the viewer, and transport them into a specific place and time. It may take hours or even days for the sun to turn a landscape or architectural setting into something remarkable, and often it doesn’t happen at all. ... |
