My perceptions of shapes seen in wood has led me to try to give expression to these through the medium of sculptured driftwood, discarded and salvaged wood, and other natural and man made beach treasures, castaways or wreckage. - The interpretation of these inspirational, tactile, representational and biomorphic forms varies with the viewer's imagination.
In the current idiom, my work lies in the techno-organic sphere of expression, but is warranted to contain no animal tissue or 'merde d'artiste' - Basically I make sculptures that I like, and I hope you do too. I have been fortunate enough to have my work selected for exhibitions in London at the Mall Galleries with:
The Royal Society of Marine Artists &
The Society of Wildlife Artists:
and also at these other London venues:
The Medical Art Society and
United Society of Artists ...
