|
"I work in the tradition of earlier representational artists who painted their surroundings, inspired by nature. My painting style is derived from a synthesis of late 19th century Naturalism, Tonalism and Impressionsm. I am drawn to the landscape as a source of spirituality. Beauty manifests itself in subtle ways and what might seem commonplace to some is inspiring to me. My job is simply to transform the ordinary."
