Artist Statement:
I remember the first character I ever drew. George the Mouse. George was a funny guy with a big head and small feet. I had visions of him having his own T.V. show and comic book one day. Since then my life has taken me down many paths.
I have always loved working with my hands, making and building things. My Father was a Contractor and my Mother loved tole painting and ceramics. I guess I was influenced by both of them in many ways.
Over the years I had forgotten my love of drawing and painting but not the love of art. In many ways I have always been attracted to the arts. In my career as a police officer I would look at the drawings kids would make to tell the stories of what was happening behind closed doors. In the world of professional wrestling the art of the story and illusion drew me to that game.
In recent years I have discovered the real passion is and always has been making art. I rediscovered my love for drawing and sketching and painting. I quickly realized what it was I had been missing all these years. To ...
