Artist Statement:
I use the rendered anthropomorphic figure as a vehicle for communication in my Reconstruction and Gunplay Series. I compose in the tradition of Giorgio de Chirico's "The Great Metaphysician", Hans Belmer's "The Doll" and Cindy Sherman's untitled horror-genre compositions. I also render the symbolic distillation of personal experience in my Recovery Series....
