Artist Statement:
Ken Raney is an illustrator and author of children’s picture books, as well as a freelance illustrator who has had his work published in such well-known publications as Highlights for Children, National Geographic Traveler, Campus Life, Christianity Today, Virtue Magazine, and Step-By-Step Graphics.
His first book, Stick Horse, was published by Medlicott Press in 1991. It’s Probably Good Dinosaurs are Extinct, came out in 1993 from Simon & Schuster, and was translated into Japanese and republished in a textbook from Harcourt Brace.
Raney and his wife Deborah, a novelist, are the parents of four children and make their home in Kansas.
Ken is now showing and selling his "Digital Fine Art".
