|
My art is about victory and revelation. It is about the beautiful marriage of light and dark, the oneness of everything, and the balance of opposites. I am fascinated by personal and cultural values, and how they relate to location, position, and orientation. What makes us who we are? If love is all we need, then what is the purpose of hate? Can we find peace without fighting for it? Can harmony exist without conflict? Art stands between war and peace; where art flourishes, victory is within reach because art illuminates that which we master or overcome. At times, art is prophetic. At times, it is delight. At times, it embodies pain or true love. Art satisfies the deepest human needs and longings.
