Artist Statement:
My life is led in primitive
areas, mostly in Guaemala,
Belize, and Mexico. My art is
called Batik. Batik is wax and
dye on fabric. I have been
creating pictures for over 20
years. In this time I have
refined the basic technique
and now use brushes instead of
the traditional Indonesian
tools. This allows me to
create more subtle and
painterly effects. I do sell
