Artist Statement for Kilu Kilu
|
|
|
Spotting his visual art behind a camera lens, Kilu conveys innovative points of view with his art. He seeks in his work the unseen, the unexplored and the invisible. He creates a portrait with light, revealing the life within and demystifying the underlying natural life forces and phenomena.
His work delivers mesmerizing images with elegant colors and a choice of mystic, systematic lines and curvatures.
Kilu captures his unique observations using camera. He documents the visual outcome using photographic process.
Kilu lives and creates in New York. His work is showcased online at www.kiluart.com.
Kilu's "Rays" series captures the vivacious colored lights and exposes
the fluid lines. He focuses on a particular angle of the lights, which
dramatically show the light's fullness and excitement.
