Artist Statement:
Animals play such an important role in our daily lives, and I have always been drawn to them. I like the way they express themselves, the way they are shaped, and the fact that they almost always forgive. In my sculptural representations, I am not so much concerned with the details or specifics, but more the feeling that a particular creature evokes. I try to say as much as possible with the least amount of information - hopefully allowing for an openness of interpretation....
