Without fail, a visitor
arrives and the internal
monologue becomes a flesh and
blood dialogue... more often
than not providing the seed
for the next work.

I think there is a
geometry of emotion, a
politics of color, that we are
only ever so barely conscious
of. I'm concerned with the
weight of colors, the
velocity of shapes, the
infinite combinations and
valid responses possible. I
work at finding a clear point
of emotional departure then
let the associations
materialize, suspending
judgment, shuffling...
