Artist Statement for Krassimir Kolev
|

|
Krassimir's paintings are realistic with a hyper-realistic touch. They are often emotional and expressive. The figures in his paintings express more presence than action. He communicates through a modern Christian symbolism combined with a classical technique. Krassimir believes that art is the language of the heart; for this reason, he desires to create art that is not only attractive but also meaningful and expressive. Through his art he wants to communicate, not only aesthetical values, but also his own values, thoughts and experiences.
