| Your Personal Biography |
Susan Prislopski Dickens has been painting since childhood. She has recently returned to her desire to interpret nature capturing the rural vistas before they disappear and also the light reflected from everyday objects.
She studied under Blanchard Gummo and William Lasansky at Bucknell University. Attended Elmira College and received her BA in Studio Art and Art History from Harpur College, SUNY Binghamton.
She began her new career in Spyglass Studio after founding and being the Executive Director of a cultural center since 1995.
She has won various awards for her art work and her paintings are held in private collections around the country, England, and Germany.
She is the former founding Vice President of the Board of Directors of New York State Multi-Arts Centers Consortium (NYMAC). She lives in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York with her husband, Larry. She has two grown daughters and awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild. |
