These are all words which has relevance to my practice. A reoccurring theme in my work is patterns and geometrical shapes in combination with recognizable figures and abstraction. There is an interesting dialouge which form when these meet and you can say I kind of make my own chaos which I then try to structure, organize? Colour is important, working with different colour combinations and exploring colour for its own properties and intrinsic value play a big role in my working practice. I work both intuitively letting the painting evolve whilst working, using different ways of applying the paint to get the right expression, as well as adding carefully planned structures, patterns and elements deriving from photografic images.
