Mary Jane Erard, Artist
Juried Member, Pastel Society of America
Mary Jane Erard PhotoMary Jane Erard is an award-winning artist painting in soft pastel, oil pastel, gouache and oil. Her works are usually rural landscapes of the mid-western US and Europe. In the past 10 years Mary Jane's paintings have been accepted in over 55 juried exhibitions and have won over 35 awards. She has also exhibited in over 11 national and international solo shows. Mary Jane's artwork has been published several times in national magazines and books, including the art book 'Best of American Pastel Artists' published by Kennedy Publishing, which will be on the market by December of 2009. Please also see the link below to read a recent article in 'The Parklander' magazine about MJ's exhibit in Ft. Lauderdale. She is also a juried member of the Pastel Society of America. Mary Jane frequently has work on display and for sale at the Collector's Corner at the Toledo Museum of Art, Space 237 Gallery in Toledo, and at Galleria 1712 a CoOp gallery in Chicago.
