Welcome to Laszlo Hamori's Portfolio. We are all artists: we create both consciously and unconsciously. The artist focuses on a thought or idea, translating it into a work of art through their chosen medium. The thought becomes dimensional and, therefore, tangible. It also holds the energy and the frequency of the original thought, from which it is borne. And that is what you sense when you are viewing a work of art.
The Madonna Series started in 1997. I found the classical artists's interpretation of the Madonna too narrow and wanted to broaden her meaning to encompass a more visceral expression.
Color does not exist without light; find the light within you and you will see the beauty of your colors.
