Jane is an established, naturally talented artist who exhibits her work through professional galleries. She is the recipient of several awards, selling nationally and internationally.
She has moved through various disciplinary techniques, from masters to open experimentation, thus expanding her knowledge and versatility. She speaks in a visual language influenced by this, which gives her work a traditional yet expressive style.
Each piece of work is always fresh, invigorating and creative.
Reoccurring themes throughout her career have often been related to theater, symphony, love and life experiences. Along with romantic portrayals, once criticized but never restraining her from expressing this form on canvas.
Her work is recognized for its rich, vibrant, warm and often luminous use of rich saturated and translucent colour. Her preferred medium is oil and uses only the highest quality paint available. Supports are generally stretched canvas, linen or board.
