Artist Statement:
With hand-woven steel wire and
polymer clays I create
energetic,colorful figures.
From 3 feet tall wire skirted
storytellers to figures on
trikes and birds... I use my
imagination to assemble beings
that are thoughtful,
intelligent, kind, as human
beings could have been.They
have been said to remind
people of line drawings in 3D.
I have been told they have a
feeling and colors of Chagal's
impressionistic
paintings.Clients compare them
to the Cirque de Soleil and
Tim Burton figures.They make
me happy making them....
