Artist Statement:
Lee Bech is an artist with an Asian background and studied both Chinese and European fine art painting techniques in Hong Kong. After arriving in Australia in 1989, she continued her studied in the area of European oil painting, and has also produced art works using Chinese, Japanese ink and brush with European techniques onto acrylic on canvas.
Lee also completed further formal education in 2001 and received the Diploma of Visual Arts from the Chisholm Institute.
Her art works are expressed through strong textures, vibrant colours and desingn compositions,executed through intense movements and unique perspectives, to create an abstract form. ...
