Aileen Leijten was born in
Belgium where
she attended the Academy of
Fine Arts.
She graduated with a BFA in
1990.
After one year of living in
Paris, France,
taking classes at the
Sorbonne, she
moved to Los Angeles to attend
California
Institute of the Arts. She
graduated
with an MFA in Experimental
Animationfilm
in 1994.
She has been working on her
own films,
paintings and illustrations
since then....
