ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY, JOE
MALTAIS,
Joe Maltais, born in 1944
under the name Jocelyne
Maltais
1960 Study to the Domestic
institute of Chicoutimi,
option arts.
1961 provincial exhibition,
hers picture "Solitude" has
worth her the first prices.
1963-65 Studies to the
Beaux-Arts of Quebec.
1965 to 89, production of
artistic work for people that
order special painting, and
many exposition with other
painters.
1989 return to the UQAM, she
gets a certificate of teaching
arts.
1990, provincial exhibition at
Farnham under the acronym of
Leduc Ozias.
1991, found an Art school in
Chambly, under the name "Les
Arts Joe Maltais" and achieve
an innovative method for the
drawing, color and movement.
Gets a permit of the ministry
of the education.
The Polytechnic school of
Montreal chosen one of hers
pictures to give an homage to
the fourteen victims of Poly
that occurred on December 6,
89.
Expose in solo in Montreal to
the "Gallery Terruscito"
1992-93, expose in "Centraide
Montreal".
1994 expose in Rougemont,
1995-96 to the Gallery Azure
and Aurore, in Chambly,
1995 Bernard Hallé, agent of
the Heritage Canadian, for
Parks Canada proposes her to
contributed for a page of the
history of the Channel...
