Artist Statement:
What keeps me interested, what
keeps me working, is the
process of reworking. I was
told that my work has a slow
read- I think this is because
I am looking around and
looking through things;
exploring not explaining. I
paint instinctively, and keep
coming back to the same
colors: warm chocolate browns,
blood red, deep purples, and
dried hydrangea green....
