Artist Statement:
Malachi is quickly earning
himself a reputation as one of
the most impressive pin-up
artists to come along in
decades.
Popular with collectors and
art enthusiasts not only
because of his incredibly
fresh and detailed painting
style, but because of his
collaboration with some of the
most well known talent in
modeling today.
Malachi is currently working
with numerous Playboy
Playmates, Penthouse Pets,
Perfect 10 models, various
sci-fi and fantasy cover
models and many amateur models
that work exclusively with
Malachi and no one else.
All of Malachi's works are
painted digitally using skills
honed through years of study
in traditional media. He now
paints all of his works in
Photoshop on a Wacom Intuos
tablet, as he finds a digital
airbrush to be a lot more
forgiving than a traditional
one.
While the majority of work is
done digitally, Malachi still
incorporates many traditional
forms of media in his works,
from watercolor, to acrylic,
to ink and much more. The
combination of digital and
traditional media along with
Malachi's hyper-realistic
painting style, create a
seamless blending of fantasy
and reality that is not only
unique, but insightful.
