Artist Statement for Catherine Meyers

It is my belief that creativity is what we are all born with. Some folks have an natural inclination and need to express this, though I believe being creative is not exclusive to artists.
As an artist I have a desire to encourage others to live there lives creatively and hope that my work we enable this to happen through the rendering of subject matter which reflect the beauty of the creation all around and within me. Living a life with humour, humility, and a love of humanity is what I strive for in all I do particularily in my art work and as an artist.
