Artist Statement:
My art requires detailed study
of the subject, both from
photographs and, where
possible, from life. My main
aim is to portray the
qualities of the animal, show
expression and above all
breathe life into it.
I want my work to make people
think, to bring into their
homes the awareness that these
creatures are under threat and
that it's up to us to help our
neighbours out....
