Artist Statement:
Most of my work comes out of my sub consciousness.
A meditative state.
Self-expressive and therapeutic, my art is a form of communication
that releases inner thoughts and feelings.
The images developed can be distorted, wild, symbolic and frequently ambiguous, thus encouraging the viewer to consider different layers of meaning. Diversity and experimentation makes my art grow.
Consequently, the majority of my pieces are one of a kind.
I really enjoyed doing the abstract series and the fantastic vessels.
I had the human figure combined with the organic world.
In my more realistic pieces like my portraits series for instance,
I tried to capture the soul of the model. Their essence…
I sometimes use realism to get a political statement across to the viewer’s eyes.
And I like to play with the erotic series to wake up some basic instincts. As Picasso said: "Sex is a drive in life, either admit it or deny it…"
